PoolGuard In-Ground Pool Alarm (Pack of 2)

The Poolguard pool alarm, once installed in the pool, remains in the alarm-ready mode and cannot be deactivated. It is tamper-proof, meaning that it will sound an alarm when removed from the pool. To use the pool, simply remove the alarm and place it in sleep mode. The alarm will automatically wake up and run a system test when reinstalled in the pool.

The Poolguard pool alarm comes with an in-house remote receiver that has a range of up to 200 feet and is powered by a 12-volt power supply. The poolside alarm operates on a 9-volt battery (not included) with a battery life of approximately one year. The in-house remote receiver also indicates a low battery at the poolside alarm.

The Poolguard pool alarm's new sensing technology reduces the chances of false alarms caused by wind, rain, or small objects like sticks or toys entering the water. The alarm has been tested and complies with the ASTM standard. However, it should not be placed too close to the return line.

The Poolguard pool alarm is NSF certified to the ASTM Standard F2208 and is made in the USA. Its horns have an output of 85 decibels at a distance of 10 feet. The Poolguard pool alarm is designed to detect intrusions similar to those of a one-year-old child and can be used in pools up to 20 x 40 feet or 800 square feet in size.
